Sic Semper Tyrannis
03:12
|
|||
Death rains from the sky
The screeching sound of terror
Destroying life without any regard for guilt
Structures around collapsing
Becoming smoldering ruins
Bodies are crushed beneath
As fire engulfs the flesh
Who bears the responsibility?
Who lives and who dies?
Who deserves to be absolved of guilt for the loss of life?
If you’re told to kill the innocent,
Will you choose to obey?
Or will you choose to turn around
And march the other way
What cause do you fight for?
Who are your enemies?
Is it worth to die for?
If you value your life
Is it worth to kill for?
Do you aggress or protect?
Make sure you are not one
Before you go and shout...
Death to tyrants!
Death to tyrants!
Those who care only for their tribe
Death to tyrants!
Death to tyrants!
Those who impose their way of life
Death to tyrants!
Those who kill the weak from afar
Death to tyrants!
Guilty whoever they are
“The tree of liberty
must be refreshed
from time to time
with the blood
of patriots and tyrants”

Eternal Conflagration
16:54
|
|||
Burn everything that is touched by the light
Start the fires and burn them bright
Let it all be consumed by your rage
There is nothing left to save
Your surroundings will ignite
Every tree and every life
In these ancient woods will die
It’s time to light the…
Kindling… that slowly begins to ignite the
Driest of leaves
Until the branches are snapping and crackling
Glowing as embers are spreading
Flames that ignite in the darkness
Claiming the logs and the saplings
Hotter still… the dead wood must be burned to nil
Before a forest
Can regrow from the cinders and ashes
Fire must bring its destruction
To the most ancient of timber
Your time is done in the sunlight
The flames are growing higher
Soon they will overcome
The strongest of the forest
Will be the last to fall
Total elimination
Of every growing form
This is the only option
Everything here must burn
Dance in the flames!
All the oaks and all the maples will be gone
They have hindered our growth for way too long
This is our time, this is our turn now
These ancient woods have been dead
Since before our lives began
Yet they blot out the light
Keep us from feeling the sun
We must reclaim our right
To keep reaching for the sky
With the light of the flame
We will rise from darkness
Our fathers, forgotten, as we descend in chaos
Unholy destruction consumes all that surrounds it
We’ve come for our vengeance
There’s nothing here that’s sacred
The fires of judgment burn swiftly through the mountain
All you’ve ever known
Is a funeral
Let the pyre grow
And cremate your woes
Every enemy
Every source of pain
Goes into the flames
Soon you’ll be left with… nothing
I am here in the flames
I am burning, yet I cannot die
Just another type of pain
From the darkness to the fire
Burn every tree
Choke every breath
The fire’s vengeance bringing death
Uncontrolled rage
Destroying all
Infernal punishment deserved
What will be left in the cinders to salvage?
What do we see in the burning remains?
The charred ruins where once there was splendor
You stand alone in the heart of the blaze
[Blaze]ing destruction that ripped through
The forest that you knew in a past life
It nurtured an ecosystem
Held in a delicate balance
A life in symbiosis cannot last forever
‘Til entropy returns to erase what we’ve built
Like a snake, it waits to poison the garden we’ve grown
Turned from paradise to hell
Ashes raining from the sky
Are poisoning the earth
The blight upon the trees
Will never fertilize rebirth
These woods were rotten and dead
Long before the firestorm
Vines of ivy had choked them
And fractured their form
They were withered and broken
From years of neglect
Dying towers of deadwood
The fire has cleansed
Dance in the ashes
And forget everything that you knew
It was nothing and worthless
The forest will regrow if you let it recover
But you must keep it growing
With water and sunlight
But you only know fire
You’re the destroyer
No life will grow here
This ground is poison
The charred remains inhospitable
Salted like Carthage
Scalded as Mercury
This barren landscape
Knows only death
Black smoke chokes out the sunlight
Nothing but ashes on the ground
Great oaks turned into cinders
Silence replaces life

Charnel Endeavors

The smell of fetid rotten flesh
Pervades your every breath
The pile of corpses thrown from the altar
By acolytes of death
The future is foretold
To purify the earth
The graves must be filled
By priests of the sacred plan for our rebirth
From the filth
To ascend
We must know what to defend
From all threats
From all foes
To the order we create
From nothingness
We will escape
Climbing a funeral mound
That we built with our own hands
Victims of a violent past
Have learned to kill if they are to last
The suffering that they endured
Will cause the meek to find a sword and fight
A sacrifice that must be made
On these beliefs, we wage our fates
The offering of mortal blood
We cut their throats to please the gods
Every endeavor to lift the ancient curse
Will lead us on a path
That we never should have walked
The memory of our suffering
Will drive us to the edge
The cruelty of the earth
Is a cycle that repeats for all time
Raising of the banner
The blowing of the horn
To gather every ally
For the coming of the storm
A battle for existence
Will be settled in the war
The gods receive an offering
The culling of the young
The smell of fetid rotten flesh
Pervades your every breath
The sacrifices made on the altar
Have led you to your death
The future is foretold
To purify the earth
The graves must be filled
By priests of the sacred plan for our rebirth
From the filth
To ascend
We must know what to defend
From all threats
From all foes
To the order we create
From nothingness
We will escape
Climbing a funeral mound
That we built with our own hands
Up we reach to the sky
And hope that the gods we believe
Will forgive what we have done
The atrocities we commit
And the pile of dead that we left in our wake
Just know we believe in the one true cause
And the righteous path is the one we walk
The destruction of our enemies
Was the only choice that we could take
Mountains of corpses stack up before us
Deaths that were worth it to build a new future
We are the only worthy to lead you
Follow our footsteps into the mass graves you dig

Veiled in Black

Anxiety
The image burned into the mind’s eye
Consumes your life
How can you bring it into being?
The best laid plans
Undermined by your own endeavors
Doomed to fail by obsession
Helpless and paralyzed
By the visage of perfection
Every time
All it takes is a slip of the tongue
In a moment everything can come undone
Losing battles that could’ve been won
Do you even realize what you’ve become?
One goal ruling every thought
Desperation renders everything for naught
If it’s impossible to make yourself stop
Then it’s time that you accept what you’ve wrought
Lost. Obsessed. Compelled.
Blinded by your fixation
Drained. Broken. Captive.
Enslaved by your own neurotic ways
Mesmerized by shining sapphires
Ivory veiled in black
A bright light
Shining in the darkness
Hold. Consume. Control.
Draining the life from your body
Cold. Alone. Distressed.
Unable to live with your own self
Hanging onto every word
You can only make it worse
Can’t bear the silence of a single moment
Confidence and patience fail
You’ve created your own hell
Trapped again inside of the same nightmare
When will you wake up?
Madness takes over your life
Dysfunction rules your mind
Your spirit fades away
And leaves you catatonic
Still unable to sustain
A symbiotic life
The only option left
To rid the parasite
Time to change the patterns, time to change my ways
Time to realize it mustn’t stay the same
No more reason to continue asking why
So this time I say never again, I’d rather die

The Futile Emancipation
16:14
|
|||
Images dancing on the cave wall
Enough to enchant and entrance us all
Voices speak and echo on
Telling us all that we know… yet…
All our wisdom is based on the image
Created by the fire light behind
Our whole lives are spent in this prison
Gazing at what’s made by the light
Eyes affixed to flickering shadows
Legs attached to the ground where we fall
We are bound by chains that enslave us
Shackled from the time we are born (here)
Suddenly my shackles break
At last my eyes can look away
I turn around and see the flame
The path in front illuminates
I’m blinded by the violent light
As my body is dragged outside
My fragile mind is overwhelmed
Until my sight accommodates
Finally I see the figures making shadows on the wall
Making stories for the prisoners, entertainment and control
All our knowledge of existence otherwise completely false
I become the morning star, I must illuminate them all
And if you cannot see the damage done is truly awful
Then I will show you everything that you have never known
I wish annihilate the images that you've constructed
And shed the light of day into the darkness of your soul
These things aren’t of this world
They’re not like what you’ve seen
To gaze upon their face
Will shatter everything you’ve ever known
Look into the light
Unveil your eyes
And break the shackles that bind
To drag yourselves to freedom
Always denied
Bound and blinded
From start of your life
Hindered by your vision of the divine
A pinhole view with myopic sight
I offer you revelation
I will show you
Keys to the kingdom
I will find you
A path to the light
You will know
The rest of the secrets
All your life
You’ve been dying to find
You will see
That darkness is weakness
Find the strength
Lying dormant inside
Walk on forth
From your blighted existence
Leave the void
It’s time to seek the truth
Your knowledge of shadows
Cannot help to guide you
On your journey from the darkness
Towards salvation
Pain overwhelming the senses
Atrophied from years of enslavement
Climbing still to the unknown
In search of the answer
Rage at a life spent trapped in lies
At knowledge long denied to me
For so many years..
If only I can acclimate my sight
I can pierce the veil
And see behind… and through
Lo… do you see the stars on heaven’s dome?
Do you see the sun shining on earth?
Will you look behind to whence you came?
To the cavern glowing from the flame
Do you see how fire makes shadows dance?
The benighted ones remain entranced
Will you go and tell them all you know?
Liberate them all and give them hope
I make my return
To my old home
(Back) in the cave
I’m blinded again
The light that I gained
Is fading away
The memory remains
The insights were gained
I must break their chains
They must find the way
Dimness of their gaze
Cannot penetrate
Their penumbral thoughts
Can’t accept these words
They will cast me out
Freedom led me to my death
