Burn everything that is touched by the light
Start the fires and burn them bright
Let it all be consumed by your rage
There is nothing left to save

Your surroundings will ignite
Every tree and every life
In these ancient woods will die
It’s time to light the…

Kindling… that slowly begins to ignite the
Driest of leaves
Until the branches are snapping and crackling
Glowing as embers are spreading
Flames that ignite in the darkness
Claiming the logs and the saplings

Hotter still… the dead wood must be burned to nil
Before a forest
Can regrow from the cinders and ashes
Fire must bring its destruction
To the most ancient of timber
Your time is done in the sunlight

The flames are growing higher
Soon they will overcome
The strongest of the forest
Will be the last to fall
Total elimination
Of every growing form
This is the only option
Everything here must burn

Dance in the flames!

All the oaks and all the maples will be gone
They have hindered our growth for way too long
This is our time, this is our turn now

These ancient woods have been dead
Since before our lives began
Yet they blot out the light
Keep us from feeling the sun
We must reclaim our right
To keep reaching for the sky
With the light of the flame
We will rise from darkness

Our fathers, forgotten, as we descend in chaos
Unholy destruction consumes all that surrounds it
We’ve come for our vengeance
There’s nothing here that’s sacred
The fires of judgment burn swiftly through the mountain

All you’ve ever known
Is a funeral
Let the pyre grow
And cremate your woes
Every enemy
Every source of pain
Goes into the flames
Soon you’ll be left with… nothing

I am here in the flames
I am burning, yet I cannot die
Just another type of pain
From the darkness to the fire

Burn every tree
Choke every breath
The fire’s vengeance bringing death
Uncontrolled rage
Destroying all
Infernal punishment deserved

What will be left in the cinders to salvage?
What do we see in the burning remains?
The charred ruins where once there was splendor
You stand alone in the heart of the blaze

[Blaze]ing destruction that ripped through
The forest that you knew in a past life
It nurtured an ecosystem
Held in a delicate balance
A life in symbiosis cannot last forever
‘Til entropy returns to erase what we’ve built
Like a snake, it waits to poison the garden we’ve grown
Turned from paradise to hell

Ashes raining from the sky
Are poisoning the earth
The blight upon the trees
Will never fertilize rebirth

These woods were rotten and dead
Long before the firestorm
Vines of ivy had choked them
And fractured their form
They were withered and broken
From years of neglect
Dying towers of deadwood
The fire has cleansed

Dance in the ashes
And forget everything that you knew
It was nothing and worthless
The forest will regrow if you let it recover
But you must keep it growing
With water and sunlight
But you only know fire

You’re the destroyer
No life will grow here
This ground is poison
The charred remains inhospitable
Salted like Carthage
Scalded as Mercury
This barren landscape
Knows only death

Black smoke chokes out the sunlight
Nothing but ashes on the ground
Great oaks turned into cinders
Silence replaces life
